Nokia or iPhone or Nokia or iPhone?
After I’ve been searching all over the web for a decent GTD
(Get things Done) or Todo application for the Nokia 5800xm without any results, I consider getting me an iPhone more and more.
Let’s face it, the Nokia 5800 hardware wise probably is as good or even better than the iPhone.
However, when it comes to available applications, it’s lacking bigtime.
It all looks a bit brighter at the moment now that the Ovi store is open for developers to offer their applications but isn’t it a bit late?
At first I just accepted the fact that the applications available for my Nokia generally are just plain ugly without any attention for details when it comes to the UI. However Gravity the twitter client by Mobileways, proved it is possible to make applications with great functionality combined with eyecandy. Gravity looks better in my opinion than the high praised tweety application for iPhone.
So why isn’t it possible to get a good GTD application for S60?
There’s Awesome Note and Things for the iPhone along with many more GTD applications available.
Awesome Note is only $ 3,99 and Things $ 9,99

The best thing I could find on the web for my Nokia 5800xm is an application called Handy Calendar. Which is sold for $ 29,95 and looks like it’s been made somewhere in 2001.

Yesterday I came across GQueues, an online GTD application by google which intergrates perfectly with googles calendar. This is THE application I been looking for. Same applies for Nozbe which also looks great and has loads of functions.
Now, if they only make a version for Symbian phones…..
